East Conservatory Kennett Square, PA |
The existing lamella roof, entrance structures and interiorscape of the East Conservatory was demolished and rebuilt. The interiorscape rests upon a full basement, which houses a massive mechanical system. Intricate precast stone, granite veneers, stainless steel & monel metal railings & arbors decorate this ornate creation. |

Our task was to reconstruct the building exactly as it appeared in 1929. Selection of the prime contractor on this project was determined by both competitive bidding and also by contest. Each contractor was to demolish and cast a new exposed aggregate column. Our column was the winner. |
